Kenapa avira?? karena avira merupakan antivirus gratisan yang lebih baik dari AVG ataupun Avast.&lt;br /&gt;3. Download juga update-annya di situsnya avira. Perhatikan gambar di bawah ini. Yang bertanda merah adalah bagian yang harus di klik untuk mendownload update-an.&lt;br /&gt;4. Nyalakan komputer yang terinfeksi virus tadi, saat boot tekan F8 untuk masuk ke save mode&lt;br /&gt;5. Jalankan program sality off dan biarkan program itu beraksi.&lt;br /&gt;6. Kalo proses scan udah selesai, install avira di komputer teman-teman.&lt;br /&gt;7. Restart komputer dan masuk ke mode windows biasa.&lt;br /&gt;8. Jalankan avira, pilih update -&gt;update manual. Setelah itu pilih folder dimana update-an avira tersebut di simpan.&lt;br /&gt;9. Melalui daftar pustaka yang disertakan pada akhir tulisan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dalam menulis daftar pustaka terdapat hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan yaitu:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;a. Daftar pustaka disusun berdasarkan urutan alfabet, berturut-turut dari atas ke bawah, tanpa menggunakan angka arab (1,2,3, dan seterusnya).&lt;br /&gt;b. Cara penulisan daftar pustaka sebagai berikut:&lt;br /&gt;-Tulis nama pengarang (nama pengarang bagian belakang ditulis terlebih dahulu,  baru nama depan)&lt;br /&gt;-Tulislah tahun terbit buku. Setelah tahun terbit diberi tanda titik (.)&lt;br /&gt;-Tulislah judul buku (dengan diberi garis bawah atau cetak miring). Setelah judul buku diberi tanda titik (.).&lt;br /&gt;-Tulislah kota terbit dan nama penerbitnya. Diantara kedua bagian itu diberi tanda titik dua (:). Setelah nama penerbit diberi tanda titik&lt;br /&gt;-Apabila digunakan dua sumber pustaka atau lebih yang sama pengarangnya, maka sumber dirilis dari buku yang lebih dahulu terbit, baru buku yang terbit kemudian. Di antara kedua sumber pustaka itu dibutuhkan tanda garis panjang.&lt;br /&gt;c. Untuk penulisan daftar pustaka yang berasal dari internet ada beberapa rumusan pendapat :&lt;br /&gt;Menurut Sophia (2002), komponen suatu bibliografi online adalah:&lt;br /&gt;  1. Nama Pengarang&lt;br /&gt;  2. Tanggal revisi terakhhir&lt;br /&gt;  3. Judul Makalah&lt;br /&gt;  4. Media yang memuat&lt;br /&gt;  5. URL yang terdiri dari protocol/situs/path/file&lt;br /&gt;  6. Tanggal akses&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Winarko memberikan rumusan pencantuman bibliografi online di daftar pustaka sebagai berikut:&lt;br /&gt;1. Artikel jurnal dari internet: Majalah/Jurnal Online&lt;br /&gt;Penulis, tahun, judul artikel, nama majalah (dengan singkatanresminya), nomor, volume, halaman dan alamat website.*) Nama majalah online harus ditulis miring&lt;br /&gt;2. Artikel umum dari internet dengan nama&lt;br /&gt;Penulis, tahun, judul artikel, [jenis media], alamat website (diakses tanggal …).*) Judul artikel harus ditulis miring&lt;br /&gt;3. Artikel umum dari internet tanpa nama&lt;br /&gt;Anonim, tahun, judul artikel, [jenis media], alamat website (diakses tanggal …).*) “Anonim” dapat diganti dengan “_____”. Skripsi dalam bahasa Inggris dimaksudkan sebagai bukti pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa di akhir masa studinya. Berikut ini djelaskan syarat dan prosedurnya.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; &lt;strong&gt;A. PANDUAN PENGAJUAN PROPOSAL SKRIPSI&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm; text-align: justify;"&gt; Mahasiswa yang akan mengajukan proposal skripsi ke Jurusan/Prodi Sastra Inggris dimohon memenuhi persyaratan sebagai berikut:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Sudah 	menyelesaikan Laporan Buku  A, B, C, Kritik Sastra Terapan dan 	Seminar Linguistik  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Hanya 	mengambil satu mata kuliah baru atau dua mata kuliah mengulang 	(dengan jumlah maksimal 4 SKS)  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Menyerahkan 	Proposal kepada Sekretaris Jurusan untuk diteruskan kepada 	Koordinator &lt;em&gt;Tim Reviewer.&lt;/em&gt;  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Proposal 	akan diberikan kepada Koordinator Tim Pembaca Proposal.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Koordinator 	&lt;em&gt;Tim Reviewer&lt;/em&gt; menyerahkan Proposal kepada Koordinator &lt;em&gt;Tim 	Reviewer&lt;/em&gt; untuk menentukan kelayakan Proposal.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Tim 	Reviewer&lt;/em&gt; menyerahkan proposal kepada Koordinator untuk 	selanjutnya koordinator menyerahkan proposal kepada dosen pembimbing 	skripsi sesuai dengan topik Sastra dan Bahasa.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; 	Hasil penilaian proposal dan dosen pembimbing diumumkan kepada 	mahasiswa.  	&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; &lt;strong&gt;B. PROSEDUR PEMBIMBINGAN SKRIPSI&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing memberikan petunjuk awal mengenai hal ihwal penulisan 	skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing memberikan pemetaan atau mapping terhadap topik yang 	dipilih mahasiswa untuk penulisan skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing mengarahkan mahasiswa dalam menentukan cakupan kajian dan 	pokok permasalahan skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing mengarahkan landasan teori dan metode yang tepat dalam 	penulisan skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing memberikan penjelasan umum penggunaan bahasa Inggris baku 	dalam penulisan skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing memberikan tata cara berkonsultasi mengenai waktu dan 	ruang serta frekuensi pertemuan minimal sepuluh kali.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing dan mahasiswa mengisi dan menyimpan formulir 	pembimbingan.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing meminta laporan kemajuan kerja secara teratur.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pemimbing wajib mengingatkan mahasiswa ketika terjadi kelambatan 	penulisan dan melaporkan kepada Ketua Jurusan manakala terjadi 	masalah pembimbingan.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing bersama Ketua Jurusan memberikan peringatan dan teguran 	melalui surat, kepada mahasiswa yang tidak melakukan konsultasi dan 	berhenti menulis tanpa alasan.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Dosen 	pembimbing menyatakan secara tertulis bahwa skripsi sudah selesai 	dan siap diuji.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; 	Pada awal pembimbingan mahasiswa harus menunjukkan bukti pembayaran 	SPP/BOP semester berjalan hal tersebut berlaku untuk semester 	selanjutnya.  	&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; &lt;strong&gt;C. PANDUAN PENULISAN PROPOSAL SKRIPSI DAN SKRIPSI&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; &lt;strong&gt;Panduan Penulisan Proposal Skripsi:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; Sistematika proposal skripsi:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="left"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Background 	of Choosing the Subject&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Menggambarkan alasan pemilihan topik 	tugas akhir.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="left"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Objective 	and Scopeof the Study&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Menjelaskan tujuan dan cakupan 	penelitian yang akan dilakukan.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Theories&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Menjelaskan 	Theoretical Approach yang akan digunakan untuk menganalisis data 	penelitian.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Methods&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Menggambarkan 	cara peneltian yang mencakup cara mengumpulkan data (&lt;em&gt;method of 	collecting data&lt;/em&gt;) dan cara menganalisis data (&lt;em&gt;method of 	analysing data&lt;/em&gt;).  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="left"&gt; 	&lt;em&gt;Presentation&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Berisi uraian isi masing-masing bab di 	dalam skripsi:&lt;br /&gt;a.   Bab I adalah Pendahuluan 	(&lt;em&gt;Introduction&lt;/em&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;b.   Bab II berisi Landasan 	Teori (&lt;em&gt;Theoretical Background&lt;/em&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;c. SYARAT UJIAN SKRIPSI&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Mengisi 	formulir persetujuan dosen pembimbing skripsi bahwa skripsi layak 	diujikan    	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Mengisi 	formulir ujian skripsi.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Menyerahkan 	3 (tiga) salinan skripsi yang telah disetujui oleh dosen pembimbing 	skripsi dan disertai dengan lembar pernyataan (&lt;em&gt;Admission&lt;/em&gt; 	&lt;em&gt;Sheet&lt;/em&gt;) yang telah ditandatangani oleh mahasiswa.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Menyerahkan 	fotokopi KTM, bukti pembayaran SPP/BOP semester berjalan, dan 	pasfoto berwarna ukuran 3x4 sebanyak 1 lembar.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Semua berkas 	yang disebutkan dalam poin 3 dan 4 dimasukkan ke dalam &lt;em&gt;clear bag&lt;/em&gt; 	warna biru.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="left"&gt;Memeriksa nilai 	di  Bagian Akademik  (Loket Sastra Inggris)  dengan 	membawa KHS semester 1 sampai semester terakhir. Jumlah SKS maksimal 	148 SKS, terdiri dari:&lt;br /&gt;a.   wajib 135 SKS&lt;br /&gt;b.   	pilihan 9 SKS  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Melakukan 	penanggalan mata kuliah jika perlu. Formulir penanggalan mata kuliah 	dapat diperoleh di Bagian Akademik.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Nilai D 	tidak boleh melebihi 25% dari seluruh mata kuliah wajib, dan 	diantaranya hanya 1 nilai D untuk mata kuliah Wajib Jurusan.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Menyerahkan 	transkrip nilai (KHS) yang sudah benar ke Sekretaris Jurusan 	disertai formulir penanggalan mata kuliah (jika menghendaki 	penanggalan). Dokumen ini akan disampaikan Sekretaris Jurusan ke 	Bagian Akademik untuk mendapatkan KHS sesuai format kurikulum.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Setelah 	persyaratan terpenuhi, Jurusan menjadwalkan ujian Skripsi. Jadwal 	ujian diberitahukan ke mahasiswa.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Mahasiswa 	menggandakan Surat Tugas (sebanyak lima kopi) yang diperoleh dari 	Sekretaris Jurusan menyerahkan kembali ke jurusan.  &lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; 	Penandatanganan formulir dilakukan di hadapan Tim Penguji pada saat 	ujian skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-left: 1.25cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt;  &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt;  &lt;strong&gt;E. PELAKSANAAN UJIAN SKRIPSI&lt;/strong&gt;  &lt;/p&gt; &lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Membawa KTM, 	bukti pembayaran SPP/BOP yang asli, naskah, dan alat tulis pada saat 	ujian skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Berpakaian 	rapi dan sopan serta menampakkan wajah.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Ujian 	diselenggarakan dalam bahasa Inggris.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="left"&gt;Ujian skripsi 	dibuka oleh Ketua Tim Penguji dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan 	kelengkapan administrasi:&lt;br /&gt;a. Kesesuaian data mahasiswa dan berita 	acara ujian.&lt;br /&gt;b. KTM dan bukti pembayaran SPP/BOP yang asli.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Ujian 	dimulai dengan presentasi mahasiswa (10 menit).  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Ujian 	skripsi dimulai dengan urutan penguji satu, penguji dua, dan penguji 	tiga. Penguji satu adalah dosen pembimbing skripsi mahasiswa, 	penguji dua adalah penguji utama, dan penguji ketiga adalah ketua 	tim penguji.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Hasil ujian 	skripsi dirundingkan oleh tim penguji secara tertutup setelah ujian 	selesai.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Hasil ujian 	skripsi diumumkan kepada mahasiswa.*  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Tim Penguji 	berhak menunda pengumuman hasil ujian Skripsi berdasarkan hal-hal 	yang bersifat khusus.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm;" align="justify"&gt;Mahasiswa 	dan tim menandatangani berkas berita acara ujian skripsi.  	&lt;/p&gt; 	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; 	Ujian dinyatakan selesai oleh ketua tim penguji.  	&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt; &lt;p style="border: medium none ; padding: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.5cm;" align="justify"&gt; &lt;strong&gt;F.       &lt;p&gt;Bagi yang ingin menginstall Ubuntu 7.10 tanpa CDROM bisa menggunakan USB FLASH sebagai alternatif, syaratnya PC harus support booting dari USB Port dan USB flash dengan kapasitas minimal 1 GB. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Untuk membuat USB bisa sebagai bootable di perlukan syslinux atau software pembuat bootable lainnya, saya menggunakan syslinux untuk membuat USB bootable karena aplikasinya sudah ada direpo ubuntu.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;untuk install applikasi syslinux di ubuntu ( infonya syslinuxnya &lt;a href="http://www.syslinux.org/"&gt;lihat disini&lt;/a&gt; ) bisa langsung dilakukan dari terminal konsole&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;$ sudo apt-get install syslinux mtools&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Setelah proses installasi selesai kemudian mount USB, Biasanya partisi USB ada pada /dev/sdb atau /dev/sdb1, dan di mounting di dalam folder media dengan nama folder usb atau nama label USB tersebut, untuk melihat partisi harddisk dan USB bisa dengan cara :&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;$ sudo fdisk -l &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;untuk membuat USB Flsh bisa sebagai bootable dengan syslinux cukup mengetikan perintah ini pada terminal konsole&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;$ sudo syslinux -s /dev/sdb1 &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;selanjutnya copy semua file yang ada di Live CD Ubuntu 7.10 “Gutsy Ribbon” ke dalam USB&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;$ sudo cp -rp /media/cdrom/* /dev/sdb1 &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Setelah proses copy file selesai, ubah nama folder isolinux menjadi syslinux, didalam folder syslinux ganti nama file isolinux.bin dan isolinux.cfg menjadi syslinux.bin dan syslinux.cfg.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Untuk  Windows Download file syslinux &lt;a href="http://freshmeat.net/redir/syslinux/10177/url_zip/syslinux-3.51.zip"&gt;dari sini &lt;/a&gt;, kemudian extrak ke dalam direktori C dengan nama syslinux.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Pada command promt windows masuk ke direktory c\:syslinux\win32, gunakan perintah berikut untuk membuat usb bisa sebagai bootable disk : syslinux -s F: ( asumsi usb drive di F ), kemudian copy semua file di Ubuntu 7.10 Live CD ke dalam USB, sebaiknya gunakan command xcopy /e /h /k d:\*.* f: (D sebagai CDROM).&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Selanjutnya USB flash sudah bisa di gunakan sebagai penganti  Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Ribbon Live CD.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sesuai dengan judulnya saat ini saya menggunakan Ubuntu terbaru ver.7.10 code name “Gutsy Gibbon”&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Sebetulnya tidak ada niat menginstall ulang OS sebelumnya (Debian Etch 4.0r1), namun karena Debian saya ada settingan yang tidak sesuai lagi sehingga menyebabkan session di usernya tidak bisa update maka saya memutuskan untuk mencoba Ubuntu terbaru ini.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Pertama kali install tidak mengalami kesulitan dan semua device pada laptop saya. Compiz-fusion pun langsung running, namun saya tidak menggunakannya karena memakan memory yang lumayan.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Hal yang pertama saya lakukan adalah merubah semua theme default ke themes modifikasi saya &lt;img src="http://ubuntulinux.or.id/blog/wp-images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="wp-smiley" /&gt; &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Setalah itu baru mulai import data-data yang dibutuhkan.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Kesan saya “Soo Good for Alternative OS”&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Mulai dari pengenalan device hardware yang semakin baik terutama saat ini sudah mendukung Card Reader ENE yang ada pada laptop&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Terminal untuk console yang semakin baik terutama untuk meng-configure router (sekarang sudah bisa ctrl+shift+6 untuk membreak perintah yang sedang jalan pada saat config router) sehingga saya tidak perlu lagi menginstall konsole milik KDE&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Pidgin sebagai program chat yang semakin baik dengan bisa menampilkan nama dari user yahoo&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Wine yang semakin disempurnakan, ini saya butuhkan untuk menginstall IE dan IZArc (freeware tools for compress and extract rar, zip, dll for windows) karena ada sebagian web yang harus dibuka dengan IE dan ada beberapa .rar yang tidak dapat dibuka dengan file roller&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Gnome yang semakin bagus dan dengan fiture yang lebih lengkap dari sebelumnya.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Untuk email client saya tetap menggunakan Kmail sebagai primary (milik KDE) dan Thunderbird karena evolution masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan seperti send optionnya seperti to, cc, bcc tidak otomatis menambah baris dibawahnya (harus mengetikan sehabis koma “,”), sehingga merepotkan kalo harus mengirim ke banyak orang dan search nya kurang bagus karena harus di ENTER dulu, berbeda dengan KMail dan thunderbird&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Browser tetap menggunakan Firefox dan Opera (kadang IE)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Desktop Search yang sangat membantu&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;- Sudah mendukung enskripsi pada Wlan seperti WPA, WEP, dll&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Sekarang di ubuntu ku ada game-game 3D yang cukup bagus, di install dari repository yang tersedia.
